Finally, A Fun and Hassle Free Way
to Raise Funds for your Church
Are you tired of selling chocolate bars and cupcakes to raise funds for the church roof? Or washing cars, having silent auctions, or simply begging, so you can send the Youth Group on a mission project?
Here is a totally different, and easy, fund-raising idea that will delight your congregation members: sponsor a harp concert!
Dr. Diane Schneider is a theologian, therapist, and harpist who has been inspiring congregations for 20 years. Her proposal is a simple one: Dr. Diane will present an engaging, spiritual, and uplifting concert of beautiful harp music for 60 minutes, for a fee of $350--no travel or harp haulage fees, and no other costs.
Let's say the Women's Prayer Group wants to raise funds to help the local Homeless Shelter. They book a date with Dr. Diane. Then, they simply promote the concert through various church groups and Sunday bulletins (4 weeks in advance is recommended), and sell tickets at $10, $15, or $20 each... or collect this at the door. (Children 12 and under are usually free.)
For example, if you sold just 39 tickets at ten dollars each, you would reach the fee requested. After that, all is profit for your Church. If you sold 200 tickets, your Church would gain $1610.00 for its own use. I am sure you can see the potential for this unique fund raiser. Just do the math. If you charged $15 or $20 each, then your profits skyrocket!!!
This will be a much easier way to raise funds than by trying to sell raffle tickets to reluctant friends who run the other way when they see you.
Treat your people to an inspiring, soothing and uplifting harp concert in your own church. Dr. Diane Schneider ministers to young and old with beautiful Celtic, classical, and inspirational songs on harp, interspersed with heart-warming stories of how God has brought healing to many through her therapeutic work.
"Her concert was a gift from God to our congregation. Sweet stories, delightful insights into harp history and this unique way of healing... She soothed and energized us at the same time!"
Dr. Diane served patients for 20 years in Mayo Clinic and other hospitals, prisons, psychiatric facilities, hospices, and private homes, using the gift of music to calm anxiety and agitation, regulate atrial fibrillation, improve digestion and sleep problems, and bring peace to those in grief or spiritual malaise. Her patients requested that she create a treatment on CD, and her award-winning CD, "Harp of Hope," (and 4 other specially-sequenced therapeutic CD's) have now brought relief to thousands of suffering people.
"Diane did a 15-minute therapeutic harp session as part of her concert--using all of my favorite gospel hymns--absolutely beautiful. We were impressed with her harp skills, but even more than that, she touches hearts which are hurting."
